Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Ministry of Science and Technology held the welcome ceremony for newly appointed teachers in Colleges, Institutes, and Schools

          At 10 :00 a.m on November 15, 2021, the Union Minister of Science and Technology, H.E. Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw attended a welcome ceremony for newly appointed teachers at universities, colleges, institutes and schools under the Advanced Science and Technology Department and Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, which was held with video conference system in assembly hall.

          At the ceremony, the Union Minister of Science and Technology, H.E. Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Director-General of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Dr. Sai Kyaw Naing Oo, Deputy Director General of the Department of Advanced Science and Technology, Daw Nwe Ni , the  Professor of Yangon Technological University, Dr. Myint Thein and the Principal of the Government Technological College (Nay Pyi Taw), Dr. Min Min Tun, said the welcome speech respectively.

          This ceremony was held in accordance with the rules of the prevention and control of the covid-19 epidemic and it was reported that the Directors- General of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Director-Generals and officials; Technological and computer universities (60), Government Technological College, Institutes and schools (70), a total of (1156) professors, assistant professors, principals, officials and teachers from (130) of universities, colleges, institutes and schools; and a total of (999) newly appointed coaches and teachers; and it was reported that a total of (2155) attended the ceremony.
